Role Overview
Skymount LLC is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support the design, automation,
deployment, and reliability of modern cloud-based platforms. In this role, you will
work closely with development and operations teams to streamline delivery pipelines,
improve infrastructure scalability, and maintain highly available environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across development, test, and production environments.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or similar platforms.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability using observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment automation, release quality, and platform stability.
- Support security, patching, backup, and disaster recovery processes across infrastructure environments.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and automation practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and system troubleshooting.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability platforms.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting production-grade distributed systems and microservices environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud and infrastructure environments.
- Experience working in Agile development and DevOps delivery teams.
