Role Overview
Skymount LLC is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team.
In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable applications that support modern
digital platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers,
designers, and DevOps engineers to deliver reliable and high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and backend APIs.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
- Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions in development and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with modern programming languages such as Java, Node.js, or Python.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Good understanding of web technologies including HTTP, REST, and modern frameworks.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
